It's Locke that makes the 'new life' comment, but it certainly applies to Sayid, and your logic makes sense.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment - feel free to join in and add more where you feel compelled to do so!

-MMMorsehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08848202186100984995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1250809695377260509.post-41704955389239483172009-09-24T00:46:03.595-04:002009-09-24T00:46:03.595-04:00I wanted to comment on your comment regarding Sayi...I wanted to comment on your comment regarding Sayid and his willingness to start a new relationship with Nadia still possibly running around. You followed up that paragraph with Sayid's quote, "Everyone gets a new life on this island, Shannon. Maybe it's time you start yours." The quote, I think, says it all. Even despite the boat being made, it's possible that Sayid has found some sort of peace on the island, and the chance for a new life. That of course all comes crashing down when Shannon dies, but I think Sayid finds happiness when near Shannon and gives him a new chance at life. Also, I was under the impression that he did believe her dead. Isn't that what he told Danielle? I can't remember. Even so, I think his quote applies to Shannon and himself.

~JasonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
