Push The Button.

Which button? The "Send" button.

Starting today, I'm soliciting contact information from you regarding my forthcoming book (on Lost's themes, allusions, references, etc). It contains both information from my columns as well as brand new info and all-new text from yours truly. I've been working on the manuscript for a few weeks now, and I'm liking what I've got so far quite a bit. If you're a fan of Lost I think you'll want this on your bookshelves.

If you'd like to show some support for this site, for the columns on Chud, or for my writing in general, please shoot me an email at WhatIsWater@gmail.com, let me know that you're interested in potentially purchasing the final product, and provide me with a working email address. YOU WILL NOT BE BOUND BY THIS IN ANY WAY. Doing this will not "force" you to buy a book somewhere down the line. It will simply give me a means to connect with those of you who wish to potentially purchase it, once pricing and size (this book is not small, people) have been determined.

I hope that you'll drop me a line. Thanks for reading!

Best,

M.

  3. Just out of curiosity, will you be writing about the end of LOST in your book?

Obviously you have already started the manuscript, but I'm wondering if you'll include a section at the end to discuss The End?

  4. Anon,

I'll be covering the entirety of the show. Given the amount of material that I've generated, and am still generating, it's possible that The Book may actually become two smaller books. Eventual size, pricing, and demand will all play a factor in this. I'm not looking to take advantage of my readers, but I dont want to cheat them out of material either.

Please let me know what you think about this.

    Best,

    MMorse

  6. Personally, I like the idea of one larger book, as opposed to two shorter installments.

That said, I understand that there are logistical factors to consider.

    Thanks for the feedback!

  7. I like it better too, Anon. And if it's possible it'll be one volume. But I'd rather give you more on a given subject (like, say, "Others" and philosophy) than less.

You'll all be kept informed as I work my way through the trenches of self/e-publishing.

    Thanks for your honesty!

  9. I like the idea of one book also. However, there is gonna be 6 seasons where you could right a lot about just one episode. So, I can understand more than one volume. That would be cool too. I know this comment doesn't help much lol.
